Our group was kindly invited to have a stall at the screening of the new film The Face Of Birth at the Edge cinema, Katoomba. We sold raffle tickets for our National Raffle - remember to get your tickets before Mother's Day! We also handed out information, back issues of Essence and generally chatted with all the wonderful people supporting new mothers through birth.

The film night was a fundraiser for a new local initiative called You Ask, We Nurture (YAWN). It is an in-home volunteer scheme that uses gentle techniques to support and nurture families with sleepless babies. They work as part of Connect: Child and Family Services Inc.
